Cynthia Hardy Young, CEO and Founder at Pivot Global Partners, will moderate a panel discussion at the upcoming “Art & Insurance” workshop in New York City. The panel will focus on insuring art, what to consider beyond the obvious, and current industry trends.
“The intersection of art and insurance will be the basis of rich conversation – whether viewing it from the perspective of an art insurer, a risk manager, a purveyor of art, an art collector, or an artist,” said Cynthia Hardy Young.
“As an art enthusiast, student and collector, as well an amateur painter, I’m passionate about art. Combine that passion with my financial services experience and Pivot Global’s focus on financial services, including insurance, and you know why I’m looking forward to this event,” continued Hardy Young.
“Art & Insurance” is an AIG and Guy Carpenter co-sponsored event focused on the unique relationship between the art world and the insurance industry.
In addition to Hardy Young’s panel discussion, the event will feature an educational “Preserving Assets” class and an exhibition featuring the work of insurance professionals, “Art as Second Life.”
