This week, Pivot Global Partners announces that Joshua Nowack has joined as a consultant.
Josh is a financial change agent with strong strategic planning and analytical abilities, as well as Fortune 500 experience. Josh creatively addresses business challenges and applies a deep understanding of technology to deliver quality improvement.
Josh began his career in treasury management for Prudential Financial in technical accounting. He then moved to Pearson, initially as a technical accountant, and later in data analytics and financial planning and analysis.
As part of H&R Block’s corporate finance team, Josh was a regional controller and then managed business planning and analysis for one of H&R Block’s largest subsidiaries. He also served as director of process where he evaluated new and emerging markets.
After H&R Block, Josh worked to turnaround a mortgage originator by restoring financial discipline, and he worked with a hedge fund backed mortgage servicing organization.
Josh then launched his own CPA firm.
As a consultant at Pivot Global Partners, Josh joins CEO & Founder Cynthia Hardy Young, as well as a team of seasoned executives and operators from various sectors, in leading clients’ organizational transformation. Josh’s areas of focus at Pivot include taxation, finance, business planning and analytics.

Josh has an MBA from Duke University, a MA in Psychology from University of Santa Monica and a BS in Business Management/Accounting from Montclair State University. He also is licensed as a CPA in Maryland and California.
